Visit Andorra

Andorra

Andorra enjoys a scenic spot in the southern slopes of the Pyrenees between Spain and France. Its rustic mountain landscapes, lakes and valleys are a magical sight when covered in winter’s blanket of snow. Thus is the charm of this tiny principality famed across Europe as a major ski destination. There are some breathtaking sights to behold within the capital if you prefer not to hit the slopes. Andorra La Vella is nestled amid snow-capped mountains and is a showcase of stone houses, the old Andorran parliament house and the centuries-old church. Relax those tired muscles at Les Escaldes where Europe’s biggest spa complex is located.

For cultural sightseeing, Encamp boasts a cool museum of antique cars and popular ski resorts. It’s a wonder how a small country hosts three large ski stations frequented by tourists every season! If you’re up for the challenge, choose from any of the excellent ski resorts found in Arinsal, Soldeu and Arcalis.
