HAI PHONG — Parkson TD Plaza, a luxury shopping complex featuring an exclusive set of tenants and innovative products, officially opened last Friday in the northern port city of Hai Phong.
Parkson TD Plaza covers an area of 18,000sq.m in a growing urban area, 100km from Ha Noi, near the city’s Cat Bi Airport.
In addition to its shops, megaplex cinema and bowling alley, it also features 200 luxury apartments and offices for lease.
Speaking at the grand opening ceremony, Parkson Hai Phong’s general director Tham Tuck Choy said the company confidently chose Hai Phong as their next investment target as this appeared to be "promising land" for the development of a high-end consumer market.
Parkson has a region-wide presence, with operations originating in Malaysia and expanding to China and, recently, Viet Nam. The corporation has been operating in HCM City since June 2005.
