Seven Shangri-La hotels featured in Conde Nast Traveler's 2007 Annual Gold List

The 13th annual ‘Gold List’ was featured in the current January 2007 issue of Conde Nast Traveler. The prestigious list features the world’s best hotels, resorts and cruise lines chosen by readers.

The results are based upon the 2006 Readers’ Choice survey, where readers are asked to rate properties according to criteria including service, rooms, design, dining and location. It was reported that nearly 21,000 readers responded to the survey.

The Shangri-La hotels named among the 85 ‘Gold List’ properties in Asia, Australia & Pacific Nations were:
*China World Hotel, Beijing
*Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong
*Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong
*Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
*Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore
*Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore
*Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok

The coveted list also includes reserve properties that did not score high enough overall to appear on the Gold List but were also worth highlighting. Shangri-La hotels listed as reserve properties include:
*Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
*Makati Shangri-La, Manila
